Bancroft on Mac, iPhone and iPad

Updated

The Bancroft apps for Mac, iPhone and iPad work the same queue as the web app, with your saved replies, internal notes and attachments. Anything you do in one shows up everywhere.

  1. Open the app and choose to sign in.
  2. Your browser opens a Bancroft page. Sign in if you need to, then approve the app.
  3. You're taken back to the app, signed in.

One sign-in connects every workspace you belong to, and workspaces you create or join later show up on their own. You can add more than one account if you have separate logins.

On the Mac

  • The same keyboard shortcuts as the web app, plus a few for the Mac. See Keyboard shortcuts.
  • Bulk actions. Select several tickets to resolve, mark pending, assign or change priority in one go.
  • Notifications for new tickets and customer replies, turned on or off per workspace in the app's Settings.
  • Counts at a glance in the Dock badge and, if you like, the menu bar.
  • Drafts are kept if you quit, so an unfinished reply is still there when you come back.

On iPhone and iPad

  • Your views (Unassigned, Mine, All open, Pending and Resolved) with counts. On iPad they sit side by side with the ticket.
  • Swipe right to assign a ticket to yourself, or left to resolve it or mark it pending.
  • Reply or add a note with saved replies and files from Photos or Files. Send, send and mark pending, or send and resolve.
  • Drafts are kept per ticket, even if the app is closed.
  • Alerts for new tickets and customer replies, and a badge counting the open tickets assigned to you. While the app is closed, iOS decides when it may check, so alerts can arrive late.

The iPhone and iPad app can't create tickets or show the customer list yet. Use the web app for those.

Sign a device out

Removing an account inside an app signs that app out on that device only. To cut off a lost or old device for good, go to Settings → AI assistants in the web app and find Connected apps. Every app signed in as you is listed there, with when it was last active. Select Disconnect and it's signed out right away. It can only come back if you sign in and approve it again.
